How We Protect You

Account Monitoring

Our systems work 24/7 to flag unusual activity, and our team will notify you quickly if something seems off. Together, we can stop fraud in its tracks.

Digital Safety Features

Our online and mobile banking platforms are built with strong encryption, time-out settings, and authentication processes to keep your data secure.

Multi-Layer Verification

To help prevent unauthorized access, Signet has introduced extra layers of identity verification — including security questions, passcodes, and photo ID checks for both in-branch and phone transactions.

Stay One Step Ahead: Keeping Your Digital Banking Secure

In a world where convenience is key, online and mobile banking have become must-haves for managing your money. At Signet, we offer secure digital tools that make it easy to check balances, transfer funds, and track your spending—anytime, anywhere.

But with quick access comes responsibility. Unfortunately, fraudsters are constantly coming up with new ways to sneak into accounts. If they get in, they can change your settings, transfer money, or even steal your identity. That’s why it’s so important to protect your login info like you would your wallet.

The good news? Keeping your account secure doesn’t have to be complicated. A few smart habits can go a long way in protecting your information—and your peace of mind.

Simple Tips to Keep Your Account Safe:

  • Create a unique username you don’t use on other websites

  • Choose a strong, one-of-a-kind password and update it regularly

  • Never share your login—not with friends, not during a loan application, and definitely not with someone calling or messaging you claiming to be from Signet

  • Never give out your Secure Access Code (SAC)—even if someone says it’s “just for verification”

  • Make sure your email and phone number are current in your account settings

  • Turn on account alerts to stay updated on activity (like failed logins or large transfers)

  • Don’t click suspicious links or download attachments from unfamiliar sources

When in doubt, pause and verify.

If something feels off, trust your gut and contact us directly. Your best defense against scams is staying aware—and staying connected with your Signet team.
Let’s protect what you’ve worked hard for—together.

Secure Access Codes (SAC)

You may receive a SAC via text or phone call when logging into Signet Online or Mobile Banking. Never share your SAC with anyone—not even someone claiming to be from Signet.
