General Summary
This position assists in building valued financial relationships with our members by helping them manage their delinquent accounts while providing outstanding professional service. The Collections Specialist is responsible for managing late or delinquent loan accounts, negative checking accounts, returned checks, and pending past due payment reminders. This role involves follow-up communications with members, maintaining accurate records, and finding resolutions that balance the goodwill of members with the credit union’s business interests.Essential Functions
Monitor and follow up on late or delinquent payments through calls, texts, emails, and mail.
Work with members to understand causes of delinquency and set up repayment plans, including contact with co-signers.
Manage records by keeping accurate documentation of all communications, updates to member files, and legal actions.
Handle legal processes like repossessions, bankruptcies, foreclosures, and charge-offs in coordination with attorneys and agencies.
Maintain professionalism by keeping the workspace organized, protecting member confidentiality, and promoting a positive environment.
Job Specifications
High school diploma required, with 1–3 years of experience in collections or bankruptcy preferred.
Familiar with credit union products and services, along with related policies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, calculators, and general computer use.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on patience and member service.
Professional and confidential, with solid math skills for accurate calculations.

General Summary:
Assist in building valued financial relationships with our members by assisting them with their accounts while providing outstanding professional service. Perform limited transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with a high degree of accuracy. Maintain accurate transactional records, providing basic cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
Provide excellent member service by greeting visitors, handling inquiries, and processing transactions quickly and accurately.
Handle cash and checks including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and balancing the cash drawer at the end of the day.
Promote credit union services such as online banking, loans, cards, and other financial products.
Maintain knowledge of credit union policies, procedures, and security measures, including fraud prevention.
Support daily operations by keeping the workspace organized, reporting equipment issues, and assisting team members as needed.
Job Specifications
High school diploma required with prior experience in cash handling or customer service.
Proficient with computers including calculators, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Strong communication skills with a focus on providing excellent member service.
Solid understanding of credit union products, services, and confidentiality practices.
Good math and data entry skills with attention to accuracy and professionalism.

General Summary:
This position assists in building valued financial relationships with our members by assisting them with their loans while providing outstanding professional service. Provide information on credit union products and services according to all credit union policies and procedures and Federal and State rules and regulations. Responsible for interviewing and evaluating applicants for routine loans and processing loan applications. Gather background information and analyze loan applicants’ credit history. Approve or deny loan applications based on analysis, operating with moderate credit authority.
Essential Functions:
Assist members with loan applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness through interviews, credit checks, and document verification.
Analyze financial data by calculating debt-to-income ratios, secured vs. unsecured debts, and determining loan eligibility and collateral needs.
Approve or deny loans and clearly communicate decisions, offering guidance or alternatives when needed.
Process approved loans by preparing documents, disbursing funds, filing liens, and verifying insurance coverage.
Maintain professionalism by staying organized, protecting member confidentiality, and supporting team goals with flexibility and a positive attitude.
Job Specifications:
High school diploma required, with loan processing experience preferred.
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office, plus basic data entry and keyboarding skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written.
Good understanding of credit union products, services, and procedures.
Professional, confidential, and accurate, with solid math skills for everyday calculations.
