Celebrating 85 Years of Serving Our Community!

Signet is the oldest financial institution founded in Paducah that remains in operation.

Starting as a single volunteer in the basement of the Illinois Central Railroad freight house, our credit union was established in June 1939 to serve railroad employees, pensioners, and their families.

Over the years, it has grown into a community-driven institution serving over 20,000 members across Western Kentucky. This growth is thanks to our dedicated team of 60 employees and the unwavering support of loyal members like you.

To mark our 85th anniversary, we conducted research with a local historian and confirmed that Signet Federal Credit Union is the oldest financial institution founded in Paducah that remains in operation.

From our beginnings as I.C.G. Railroad Credit Union to our transformation into Paducah Federal Credit Union and finally Signet Federal Credit Union, we've undergone significant changes guided by the loyalty and hard work of our volunteer board of directors and members.

As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to many more years of fostering growth, serving our community, and achieving shared success.
